Amidst ongoing nationwide protests against bad governance in Nigeria, Nollywood actress Tonto Dikeh has expressed her support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration
On her Instagram page, she shared a chart comparing various sectors such as foreign reserves, minimum wage, and oil production as of July 2024, highlighting improvements in these areas.
Tonto Dikeh noted that “statistics don’t lie” and emphasized that everyone is working towards improving the country.
She observed that Nigerians often criticize leaders they dislike, regardless of their efforts.
She encouraged her followers to acknowledge the progress made and make informed decisions, stating:
“Statistics don’t lie: everyone is working to get this country to where we want it to be. One thing about Nigerians is that if they don’t like you, nothing you do will ever be good enough for them. Let’s not deny this glaring truth. Stay safe and make wise decisions always.”
