Nancy Isime, a Nigerian actress and fitness enthusiast, recently opened up about her spiritual life on social media.
She shared her experience attending a service at Koinonia church in Abuja and meeting Apostle Joshua Selman, whom she credits for transforming her faith and mindset.
Isime emphasized her identity as a Christian, saying, “I am a Child of God and a Christian by birth and by Choice. Far from perfect but I’ve found my peace with Jesus.” However, she distanced herself from trendy religious labels, stating, “I am NOT a Jesus Baby, Jesus Baddie or whatever labels comes with identifying with Christ in recent times.”
The actress highlighted the personal nature of her faith, saying, “My relationship with God is personal and not for Man’s understanding and acceptance.” She also expressed respect for diverse beliefs, adding, “I however do not discriminate against people who communicate with God through other religions.”
Isime stressed the importance of emulating Christ’s love and acceptance, stating, “If I’m Christian, it means I’m Christ like and Christ never discriminated, judged, labeled, he wasn’t even religious. He was accessible to all and his message was Love, Goodness and Salvation.”
Her post encourages a message of inclusivity and understanding in matters of faith, reflecting on her personal spiritual journey while respecting others’ beliefs.
