Veteran actor, Lalude has shared the story of how he and Kamo, a younger star, supported each other in their careers despite claim of one-sided help
Lalude revealed that he played a significant role in helping Kamo and others gain recognition, even before they became well-known.
According to Lalude, he was approached to participate in a skit with Kamo and another actor, Mobo, and he agreed.
He believes that his contribution to their project helped elevate their careers, just as they also contributed to his own growth.
Lalude fondly recalled a lighthearted moment when Kamo joked about his preference for riding bicycles despite owning a car.
He said: “I have a surprise for the world my impact on Kamo and the others is undeniable. If they choose not to acknowledge it, that’s on them. I’m not afraid to speak up. Before they even became known, I went to do a play with someone, and they were literally begging me to do a skit with them. The person I acted with at the time was called Mobo. He approached me and asked what made them carry me on their chest like that. I explained that they asked me to join their skit, and I agreed. That was the beginning of our journey together.
I contributed to their growth just like they did to mine. Kamo once called me and joked about how I was always riding bikes around, even though I owned a car.”
