Davido has revealed he communicates regularly with soccer king, Cristiano Ronaldo
The singer made the disclosure during a livestream with content creator Carter Efe while discussing the recently concluded 2026 FIFA World Cup.
Explaining why he wanted Portugal to lift the trophy, Davido said his support was influenced by the friendships he has built with several players in the Portuguese national team.
“Because I have a lot of friends in the Portuguese team. I want Portugal to win,” he said.
He continued, “I love Ronaldo, I’m a CR7 fan.”
Davido went on to claim that he and the Balon d’or communicate frequently, saying in Pidgin English that he speaks with the “legend back to back.”
The revelation left Carter Efe visibly stunned, prompting him to repeatedly scream.
