Fireboy DML, has remembered how he left an event crying after the audience he was meant to perform for ignored him, including the DJ also ignoring him, by playing songs from others as the audience vibed to it
I cried after my audience failed to recognise me – FireboyThe crooner claimed the incident happened during his early days as an upcoming artiste.
Narrating in an interview with the Billboard News, Fireboy noted every up coming artiste face challenges.
He said, “Every upcoming artiste always go through a lot of stuff.
“There was a show I went to perform and nobody even knew I was on stage or spared me a second glance. Everybody was just dancing.
“The DJ was just DJing. I felt invisible and I went back to the car with my friend crying.
“I told myself never again. I will never ask for something until I feel like I deserve it.”
