Gospel musician and media entrepreneur Yinka Ayefele has set the record straight, dismissing claims that he is not the biological father of his triplets
During an interview on the show “Curiosity Made Me Ask” with content creator Isbae U, Ayefele addressed the host’s inquiry about how he was able to father children despite his spinal cord injury.
The host, Isbae U, asked, “How did you manage to impregnate your wife, considering your condition?”, Ayefele responded, “I impregnated my wife, and she became pregnant with triplets. I don’t understand what you’re insinuating. Are you suggesting I adopted them?”
He continued, “Yes, it’s true that individuals with spinal cord injuries may face challenges with fertility, but I’m among the lucky ones. I’ve been blessed with four wonderful sons.”
Ayefele’s clarification came after a video of the interview went viral on Friday. The gospel musician has been open about his experiences since his accident on December 12, 1997, which left him wheelchair-bound.
He married Temitope three years later, and they have four male children together.
Ayefele’s response has put to rest any speculation about his children’s paternity, and he continues to inspire fans with his music and resilience.
