Fuji Musibau Alani has addressed allegations surrounding his relationship with Asake’s mother, Fali
Musibau, who is Asake’s stepfather, denied claims that he took Fali away from her former husband, Malo
Musibau revealed that he met Fali as a single mother, already separated from Malo, and that they got married and had three children together.
He also clarified that he did not perform at Asake’s naming ceremony, contrary to rumors.
Musibau shared an encounter with Malo, where Malo expressed gratitude for Musibau’s care of Asake.
Musibau emphasized that he did not snatch Fali from Malo and that he has been a positive influence in Asake’s life.
“For the record, I did not snatch Fali from her first husband, and I was neither present at nor played at Asake’s naming ceremony,”
“I eventually met her ex-husband, Malo, who was working at a council in Lagos Island. The day he saw me there, he even told his colleagues to thank me for taking good care of his son, Ahmed (Asake),” he said.
