Fake Flavour, a Nigerian performer, has addressed allegations of impersonating award-winning highlife artist Flavour N’abania, saying his intention was never to scam fans
In a video, he explained he’s a huge fan of Flavour, which inspired his stage name.

Fake Flavour highlighted his performance fees range from ₦700,000 to ₦800,000, far lower than what the real Flavour would charge, adding that clients know he’s not the original artist.
He stressed he’s not pretending to be Flavour for financial gain, saying “I just love him”.
He said:
“Flavour would never perform for that amount. People who book me know I’m doing my own thing, and I’m not pretending to be him to get money.”
