Actor Habeeb Alagbe has opened up on how he faced rejection due to his skinny physique
In an interview on Babaibe TV’s YouTube channel, Alagbe said some actors turned him down for roles, citing his small sized body as the reason.
He expressed the emotional toll this took on him, admitting he would often cry due to the rejection and lack of opportunities.
Alagbe said: “I started my film making career with English series movies on television channels. Sometimes when some actors invite me to feature in their movies and I’m given a movie script to work with, they always confess that I’m a good actor.
“Some actors said I have a small body and I’m too skinny, so they refused to give me movie roles. The rejection I got made me cry so many times because I’m not God, who created me this way.”
