Yoruba Nation agitator, Sunday Igboho, has denied claims that he led the operation that secured the release of former Minister of Power, Bayo Adelabu’s sister, and her twin sons in Oyo state
In a statement, Igboho clarified that he played no direct role in the rescue mission, contrary to reports circulating on social media.
He explained that the rescue was carried out by security operatives who successfully tracked the k!dnappers to their hideout, secured the release of the a.bducted family members, and arrested the suspects.
“The operation was carried out by security personnel who tracked down the k!dnappers’ hideout, rescued the victims and arrested suspects linked to the a.bduction,” the statement read.
Igboho stressed that the security agencies involved deserved full recognition for the successful operation and should be credited accordingly.
His clarification comes after media personality Rufai Oseni reportedly linked him to the rescue effort, a claim the activist firmly rejected while urging the public to rely on verified information regarding the incident.
