Former President Muhammadu Buhari has urged members of the Progressive Governors Forum (PGF) to adopt a citizen-centric approach to governance
He emphasised that leadership presents both challenges and opportunities, stressing that striking the right balance would be crucial for advancing national progress.
During a meeting with APC governors, Buhari expressed confidence in the ongoing efforts of the governors elected under the All Progressives Congress (APC), urging them to remain dedicated to improving the nation.
He also highlighted the importance of prioritising the welfare of the citizens over personal interests.
Drawing from his own example, Buhari shared that he left office without acquiring any assets, stating, “I didn’t acquire assets while I served as President.”
He further acknowledged the renovation of his Kaduna home by the Tinubu administration, noting that while the external appearance remained the same, significant internal improvements were made.
