The rift between social media commentator VeryDarkMan and Deeone, has escalated, as the latter admits to setting trap for VeryDarkMan over controversy involving Nedu
Nedu has officially resigned as host of The Honest Bunch Podcast, citing mounting accusations and their impact on his personal life. In a statement, he described the allegations as “unfounded” and expressed that the constant attacks and misrepresentation had taken a toll on his peace of mind and family. While he remains committed to candid discussions, he acknowledged that stepping away was the best decision under the circumstances.
During an interview with TVC, Deeone admitted to orchestrating a plan to expose VDM, revealing that he had been studying him for 18 months to determine the authenticity of his claims and methods. He explained that he had to set a trap because addressing the issue directly on social media would have made it seem like he was chasing clout.
“I have been studying VeryDarkMan for one year and six months, and I discovered that if you call him out on social media, people will think you are clout-chasing. So I set a trap, and he fell for it,” Deeone said.
He further disclosed that Nedu was unknowingly used as part of the scheme, expressing regret for involving him without his knowledge. He urged the public not to hold Nedu accountable, emphasizing that he was solely responsible for the situation.
