Peter Okoye, one half of the famous Nigerian music duo Psquare, has revealed that his social media growth slowed down after reuniting with his twin brother, Paul Okoye.
Speaking about his online influence and popularity during his solo career, Peter claimed he was among the most-followed celebrities in Nigeria at the time.
“I used to have 100k followers daily back then. After Davido, it was me and Don Jazzy leading in followers. My followers stopped growing after the reunion with my twin brother, i don’t know why ” Peter Okoye said.
Peter and Paul Okoye reunited as Psquare in 2021 after years of separation, a move that was widely celebrated by fans across Africa and beyond.
Mr P made the remarks while reflecting on different phases of his career, noting how his journey in music and public life has evolved over the years.
