I usually hate my songs after recording – Ayra Starr

In an interview, Afrobeats sensation Ayra Starr shared her thoughts on her music, revealing a surprisingly high standard for her own work

The Mavin Records artiste confessed that she often feels dissatisfied with her songs after recording them, believing they can be improved further.

“I usually don’t like my songs after recording. It’s so bad. I don’t even know why. I just feel like it can get better and better, and I just keep trying to go, go, go until it’s perfect,” she said.

Also, Ayra Starr made an exception for her hit single “Woman Commando,” featuring Anita and Coco Jones.

“Woman Commando was that song that I was like, okay, I went crazy on this one. This is dope,” she added.
