The appeal comes after widespread criticism over an unauthorised visit to the Benin Royal Palace, which the Benin Traditional Council described as a breach of palace customs and protocol.
Speaking during a live social media session, Jarvis expressed deep remorse over the incident and asked for clemency on behalf of her partner. She also shared her worries about the potential impact on her personal life, particularly her plans to marry, emphasizing her desire for the situation not to hinder her future.
“I don’t want to be single to stupor… please forgive him. I want to get married; I want my bride price paid without fear. Please have mercy on us,” she pleaded.
