May D has made a bold assertion about his standing in the music industry, sparking a heated debate among fans and critics

In a recent episode of The ‘Honest Bunch’ podcast, May D reflected on his past success and claimed that he was once considered one of the top three artistes in Nigeria, alongside Wizkid and Davido.

In a surprising statement, May D asserted that he was, at one point, even more prominent than the two music heavyweights, Wizkid and Davido.

To drive home his point, he drew a comparison between his hit song “Soundtrack” and Wizkid’s “Holla at Your Boy”, implying that his song was more impactful.

“Then it was Wizkid, Davido, and I.

I was even bigger. What’s ‘Holla at Your Boy’ compared to ‘Soundtrack?’”
