Naira Marley’s Marlian Record Label is facing another controversy after Fabian Blu, an artist formerly signed to the label, made some shocking allegations
In an interview with Chude Jideonwo, Fabian Blu claimed that he was owed royalties for the past five years and was never paid.
The singer alleged that when he threatened to take legal action, Naira Marley dismissed him.
Fabian Blu also spoke about his experiences while signed to the label, including being labeled a “lazy artist” and being sidelined because of his ethnicity and religion.
Furthermore, Fabian Blu claimed that he was introduced to drugs during his time at Marlian Record Label, stating that the environment was “too gangster” for him.
He also alleged that the label spread rumors about his mental health after he left.
Fabian Blu’s allegations come after the late Mohbad’s widow, Wunmi, sent a message to Naira Marley during an interview with Chude Jideonwo.
