His decision follows allegations from VeryDarkMan, who accused him of engaging in illicit activities through the podcast.

During the press briefing, Nedu defended his approach to hosting, emphasizing the importance of allowing guests to freely express their opinions without interference.

“Any conversation that surrounds, oh, as the guest is talking, you have to stop the guest so that the guest does not say some things, for me, it’s not professional, and I don’t do that,” he stated. “You cannot use my relationship with you, wherever you are, to force me to shut down what any guest is saying on the show. That is also not professional.”

He stressed that each guest’s views are their own and not representative of the show itself. He also clarified that individuals who feel misrepresented have a right to respond, either on the podcast or any other platform.

Addressing rumors of his dismissal, Nedu firmly denied being fired. “I was not fired from Honest Bunch. I was never fired. I decided to stay away when the attacks became very personal so that the show can go on and stand up,” he explained.

Regarding his role on the podcast, Nedu described himself as a “devil’s advocate” whose job was to ask tough questions and provoke conversations that people might be reluctant to have.

“My job is to ask the hard questions. And it’s also my job to make statements that most of whom I really think, but you can’t say it. That is my job,” he noted.

He concluded by refusing to engage in public disputes, stating that he would not participate in online exchanges or address allegations directly. Instead, he handed over to his management team to handle any legal matters related to the controversy.
