Reality TV star, Tacha, has revealed plans to venture into politics, citing frustration with the state of governance in Rivers State
Speaking in an interview with media personality Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, the former Big Brother Naija housemate said she is deeply disappointed with the lack of development in her home state despite its vast potential.
“When I look at other states like Abuja and Lagos and see how far they’ve come—compared to Rivers State—it’s disappointing,” Tacha said. “There are so many youths, so many talents. If the government would just shine a light on them, a lot could happen.”
Tacha, who hails from Port Harcourt, emphasized that real change comes from active participation in governance rather than staying on the sidelines to criticize.
When asked if she plans to run for office, she confirmed she’s working on something but declined to give full details.
“It’s something I’m working on,” she said. “Once I’m 70% done, I’ll talk about it. It doesn’t make sense to keep granting interviews and talking about government without actually being involved.”
She also disclosed plans to attempt a Guinness World Record by doing makeup on 150 people within 24 hours.
