Malam Yankee, who manages Iceking Ochacho and previously worked with Plantashun Boiz, says the young singer has been passionate about music from a very early age.
According to him, Iceking started singing when he was just eight years old. He also believes that financial support from parents can make a big difference in helping young musicians pursue their dreams.
Speaking about the difference parental support can make, Malam Yankee pointed to Iceking’s father, Ochacho, as an example of a parent who can afford to support his child’s musical ambitions.
In an interview he said:
“Iceking is a star, he’s has been singing since he was 8 years old. Your parents don’t have money, that’s why they’re not encouraging your music career, if they have money like Ochacho, they’ll encourage you”.
