Oyo State Governor Seyi Makinde has confirmed the identity of the second teacher k!lled during the widely publicized Oyo schoolchildren a.bduction as Mr. John Olaleye
The confirmation came after the rescued pupils and teachers were received by the Oyo State Government.
Speaking after their rescue, the school principal, Mrs. Alamu, revealed that Olaleye was k!lled on the first Sunday of June 2026 while the victims were still in captivity.
According to the principal, the k!dnappers allegedly carried out the k!lling after their demands were not met. She said the a.bducted pupils and teachers witnessed the incident.
Makinde’s confirmation brings the number of teachers k!lled during the a.bduction to two.
