A vendor of Ilaro, a popular snack, has taken to social media to express her disappointment and frustration with Papaya Ex, Abike, for allegedly failing to show up at her event despite being paid ₦3 million
The vendor explained that she had booked Papaya Ex to appear at her Ilaro trade fair on February 23rd and had paid her in full.
However, on the day of the event, Papaya Ex sent a message claiming she had missed her flight due to a layover.
The vendor questioned the validity of Papaya Ex’s excuse, pointing out that she had posted a Snapchat video showing her enjoying herself in Dubai two days prior to the event.
The vendor felt deceived and demanded a full refund, stating that she would not rest until she received her money back.
