Controversial Nigerian social media personality, Peller, has responded after he was criticised by TVC News for mocking civil servants over their inability to afford luxury vacations like the Maldives, following his trip with his partner, Jarvis
The backlash began after TVC News called him out for insensitive remarks seen as mocking average Nigerian workers struggling with rising economic hardship.

Reacting in a heated response, Peller fired back at the media outlet and one of its presenters, accusing them of repeatedly targeting him and making derogatory comments about his lifestyle and statements.
He said:
“If I buy TVC, I will first sack that lady that drags me all the time, when I get to Nigeria I will sl@p her face, she says anything working in Nigeria can go to Maldives, TVC sponsor her to Maldives cuz if you do I know you won’t pay her for 5months cuz you want to oppress me”
The statement has since sparked fresh reactions online, with many users divided over his comments, as some criticised the tone as aggressive and inappropriate, while others argued it reflects ongoing tension between influencers and traditional media platforms over public criticism and accountability.
Neither TVC News nor the presenter involved has issued an additional response at the time of filing this report.
