The Group Chief Executive Officer of the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited, Bayo Ojulari, on Thursday, declared that he is not a politician, saying that he will have to learn a bit more about politics
He stated this on Thursday while receiving a delegation of the Petroleum and Natural Gas Senior Staff Association of Nigeria, led by its President, Festus Osifo, at the NNPCL headquarters in Abuja.
He said, “I’m not hiding from anybody. I’m not a politician. I will have to learn a bit more about politics, but for me, it is a development plan, and I’m ready to learn.”
Ojulari stressed that the company was working to revive moribund refineries to operate at full capacity, disclosing that management was considering adopting the Nigeria Liquefied Natural Gas model.
The NNPCL boss also raised concerns over threats to his life and those of some members of the company’s management.
