Annie Macaulay says she is not a single mother

Annie Macaulay is setting the record straight about her personal life and she’s doing it in her own words.

The Nollywood actress recently took to her Instagram page to address a label she says doesn’t quite fit.

Following her separation from her ex-husband, many have referred to her as a “single mom,” but Annie says that description isn’t accurate.

In a candid post, the mother of two clarified her stance, writing:

“I’m not a single Mom.
I’m a single woman raising two kids”.

With that simple but powerful statement, Annie made it clear that while she may be single, she does not identify with the narrative often attached to single motherhood.

For Annie, the distinction matters and she is choosing to define her journey in her own way while focusing on raising her children.
