American rapper Lil Baby has made a candid admission about his views on marriage
In a latest podcast interview, the 30-year-old revealed that he has no intention of getting married in the classical sense, at least not for now.
While Lil Baby is open to the idea of living with a partner, he’s adamant that he won’t be signing any marriage certificates or entering into a legally recognized union.
His reasoning? He wants to maintain control over his assets and avoid the complexities of divorce proceedings.
However, Lil Baby did concede that his stance on marriage might evolve as he gets older.
He’s willing to make grand romantic gestures, such as splurging on a $10 million ring and wedding, but he’s drawing the line at legal commitment.
“Prenuptial doesn’t mean that you can marry a woman and she won’t get anything after divorce. There are ways for her to get something regardless.
“I will give a girl a $10M ring, a $10M wedding, but no paperwork [legal marriage].
“I would vow ’till death do us part,’ we get married but no paperwork. And that could change when I get older,”
