Ronaldo described the achievement as gratifying but unsurprising, attributing his massive following to the global love for football and his career.

He expressed happiness over the milestone, emphasizing that the unwavering support of his fans worldwide made the achievement predictable.

“I know the passion that people have for me and for football as well. For the career I still have, I felt that passion, so it wasn’t a surprise. I feel happy, but in the same way, not surprised,” he said.
