Veteran Actress, Patience Ozokwo has opened up about her famous “wicked” movie characters, saying she takes pride in portraying such roles because they help expose the negative behaviours that exist in society
Speaking on the impact of her performances, the actress explained that while many people are uncomfortable discussing certain societal problems, films provide an opportunity to bring those issues to light and teach important lessons.
Reflecting on her long career, Patience Ozokwo stressed that the villainous characters she often plays on screen do not reflect who she is in real life.
“I feel proud because it exposed the ills in society. Those things happen, but nobody wants to talk about them. I’m not like that in real life, but I’m proud of myself for playing those wicked roles.”, she said.
