Prince Odi Okojie couldn’t hide his excitement as his wife, actress Mercy Johnson, stepped into a new chapter of public service following her appointment by the Edo State Governor.
Earlier this week, Okpebholo appointed Mercy to serve as Special Advisor on Public Engagement and Advocacy.
In her statement, Mercy expressed deep gratitude and honour for the trust the Governor placed in her.
“This appointment isn’t just a call to serve but a call to connect, listen, and advocate with purpose,”
she said.
She pledged to approach her new role with humility, dedication, and unwavering commitment, fully aligning herself with the Governor’s vision.
