Starlink has announced a significant price increase for its monthly subscription services in Nigeria, citing excessive inflation levels
The new prices are as follows.
Standard Residential will now cost seventy-five thousand naira.
Mobile Regional, also known as Roam Unlimited, will now cost one hundred and sixty-seven thousand naira.
Mobile Global, also known as Global Roam, will now cost seven hundred and seventeen thousand naira.
Existing customers will see the price change on October 31, 2024, while new customers will be charged the increased rates immediately.
The notification from Starlink reads: Thank you for being a Starlink customer and for your continued support.
Due to excessive levels of inflation, the Starlink monthly service price will increase from current rates to the respective rates below.
As a current customer, your monthly service price will increase in one month, beginning October 31, 2024.
For new customers, the price increase is effective immediately. If you do not wish to continue your service, you can cancel at any time.
