Yul Edochie has taken to social media to openly criticize President Bola Ahmed Tinubu over worsening insecurity and cost of living
Addressing the president directly, the actor warned that “bandits are gradually taking over the whole country, spilling the blood of Nigerians at will without consequences,” noting that kidnappings have become a daily occurrence and the suffering of citizens is unbearable.

He questioned whether this situation reflects the “renewed hope” promised to Nigerians.
In a follow-up message, Yul challenged Tinubu, saying: “You have the capacity to crush these bandits and kidnappers who are killing Nigerians daily and even posting it on social media. It’s a slap on your face, Mr. President.”
He highlighted the fear gripping Nigerians, with many now afraid to travel or move freely, and pleaded with the government to take decisive action, even if it means seeking foreign assistance, to end the cycle of violence.
