An Islamic cleric and counselor Bello Muhammed Tahir, has slammed Muslim first wives who view their husband’s second wives as husband snatchers
According to him, such an attitude is sickening and very ungodly.
Tahir condemned the action in a Facebook post, stating being a man’s first wife does not mean he belongs solely to you.
He wrote;
“It is sickening and very unpalatable how Muslim first wives think that a potential second wife is a husband snatcher.
From where did you get this unGodly conception?
How does being the first wife make the man your property that any other woman can’t be interested in him?
Just how? To say that this is coming from Muslims is dissatisfying.
Even Christians don’t think this way anymore.
I hope Allāh doesn’t test you one day where the table turns and you have to be at the mercy of another.
Some of us really need to be guided and learn how to conduct ourselves. Allahumma.”
