It’s demotion if I am called to be Nigeria’s President – Bishop Oyedepo
The founding Bishop of the Living Faith Church, David Oyedepo, has said it’s a total demotion if he is called to be Nigeria’s President.
According to him, the Bible has shown him that he is already on top of the nation and aiming to be President, is trying to bring himself down.
Bishop Oyedepo said this during the just held Shiloh 2023 at the church’s headquarters in Canaan Land, Ota, Ogun State.
Preaching on the spirit of faith, he said, “When I said it will be like demotion if I am called to be Nigeria’s president because I see myself on top of nations from scripture.
“The spirit of faith is action-driven, and its strength is your inner man. The day I saw God’s agenda for my life, I moved.
“If I go to be with God today, you will be surprised that nations will converge here.”
Recall the Minister of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Alleviation, Betta Edu, recently said Oyedepo’s prayers paved the way for her appointment as a minister.
Presidential candidates are also known to have visited the Bishop during their electioneering year.
