On Saturday, November 16 (IST), boxing legend Mike Tyson faced YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul in one of the most anticipated fights of the year

Originally scheduled for July 20, the bout was postponed to November 15 after the 58-year-old Tyson was deemed medically unfit to compete earlier in the year.
The event, held at the AT&T Stadium in Dallas as the main attraction of a blockbuster Netflix special, marked Tyson’s return to professional boxing after a two-decade hiatus. However, it was Jake Paul who emerged victorious, defeating the boxing icon via unanimous decision.
The fight began with Tyson taking control, winning the first two rounds decisively. The 27-year-old Paul, however, staged an impressive comeback, gradually shifting the momentum in his favor. The unofficial scorecard reflected this, reading 78-74 in favor of Paul.
Tyson started strong, using his experience to dominate the opening rounds. Yet, Paul’s strategy began to pay off in the third round, where a series of triple jabs earned him a 10-9 score. By the end of the fourth round, Tyson still led narrowly at 29-28, but fatigue soon became a significant factor for the former heavyweight champion.
As Tyson’s movement slowed, Paul capitalized on the opportunity, landing effective body shots and combinations to take the lead at 48-47. Continuing to apply pressure, Paul extended his advantage to 58-56 in the subsequent rounds. A series of powerful punches sealed Tyson’s fate, with Paul ultimately claiming a decisive victory.
This win stands as the biggest triumph of Jake Paul’s professional boxing career, cementing his position in the sport while signaling a passing of the torch from one generation to the next.
