The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) on Friday announced the release of the 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) results

However, the board revealed that it is withholding the results of 39,834 candidates due to various cases of examination irregularities currently under investigation.
Over 1.9 million candidates took part in the just-concluded UTME across the country.
Speaking during a press briefing, JAMB Registrar, Prof. Ishaq Oloyede, disclosed that 80 suspects are currently being interrogated for alleged examination malpractice, with Anambra State accounting for the highest number of suspects at 14.
He further revealed that 467 underage candidates scored above the minimum benchmark, while 50 of them were implicated in cheating-related offenses.
The board’s official press conference on the examination is still ongoing.
