Jarvis has addressed the old video circulating online, saying it does not reflect any recent change in her faith.
In a message shared on her Instagram Story, she explained that both she and her husband are Christians, although they come from Muslim backgrounds.
She also expressed love and respect for members of the Muslim community, stressing that people of different faiths can live in unity.
She wrote:
“To my Muslim brothers and Sisters much love and respect to you all.

My Husband and I are Christian and we both have Muslim background, but even as Christians we also respect and love our Muslim brothers and sisters
We are ONE.”
The clarification follows the circulation of an old video showing Jarvis and Peller at the Lagos Central Mosque, where they were seen taking part in Islamic prayers during a religious ceremony. Jarvis said the video is old and reiterated that she and Peller are Christians who continue to respect people of all faiths.
