Jaywon and Port Harcourt duo Ajebo Hustlers have clashed on social media, sparking a fiery back-and-forth that has drawn attention from fans across Nigeria
The drama began after Ajebo Hustlers released a diss track aimed at Jaywon and activist Seun Kuti. Jaywon responded with his characteristic humor and sarcasm, tweeting:
“Wow Ajebo Hustlers lol, well that’s the weakest verse y’all ever made and I love you guys and you know it, but I understand your situation!! Try harder next time!!”
He added jokingly: “The same Ajebo Hustlers wey I buy food for for Port Harcourt lol 😂.”
Ajebo Hustlers fired back, accusing Jaywon of hypocrisy and revisiting an old grievance from 2018. They claimed the singer was booked for a show in Port Harcourt but failed to show up or refund them. They tweeted:
“You wey go upload our song on DSP say na cover you Dey do if no be hungry Dey do you then na Wetin? You wey na oyibo woman keep you for house 😂😂 @JAYWONJUWONLO.
This fool @JAYWONJUWONLO that we booked in 2018 to come for our show in Port Harcourt. He didn’t show up, he didn’t refund. But na we dey hungry?? Such an ungrateful idiot.”
Jaywon quickly addressed the accusation, challenging them to provide proof:
“How much did you pay, @Ajebo_Hustlers? It’s strange how we never had this conversation before, yet suddenly I’m being told I owe you. If there’s proof, show it to the world and take your refund. This is disappointing, but I’ve learned no amount of goodwill can change people who choose to be ungrateful.”
The online exchange escalated, with Jaywon blending wit and a subtle lesson in loyalty:

Ajebo Hustlers continued to accuse Jaywon of failing to support them early in their career, insisting he could have helped put their music on digital streaming platforms instead of uploading a cover of their song. They ended their tweets with a mocking tone:
“I dey fuck up sha, I dey exchange tweets with a nigga when dey proud that he’s friends with Bobrisky.”
