Nollywood star Tonto Dikeh has revealed that she has mended ties with her ex-husband, Olakunle “Churchill” Oladunni, calling the reunion a “divine restoration” after nearly ten years of public conflicts and legal battles

Sharing her emotions on social media, Dikeh described the reconciliation as a journey from chaos and pain to peace and understanding.

“Ten years of public fights, deep wounds, and heartache, yet God stepped in. What seemed impossible has been touched by mercy. Peace has come, and respect is back,” she wrote.

The actress credited the breakthrough to spiritual guidance, consistent prayers, humility, and faith, noting that human effort alone would not have healed the fractured relationship. She also thanked Churchill, the father of their son King Andre, for embracing forgiveness and walking the path of peace.

According to Dikeh, their renewed connection is grounded in humility, authentic forgiveness, and a shared focus on their child’s wellbeing.

“This is not about strength or wisdom; this is about transformation through faith,” she added, offering encouragement to those facing similar struggles: “If you feel broken, misunderstood, or exhausted, your story isn’t over. God has not abandoned you.”

She concluded with a prayer that their restored bond remains protected by grace and mercy, calling the reconciliation a testimony to God’s unending love.

Tonto Dikeh and Churchill tied the knot in 2015 in a high-profile ceremony, but the marriage collapsed in less than two years amid public scrutiny and legal disputes over custody. Their son, King Andre, was at the center of the long-standing conflicts.

This unexpected reunion comes as Dikeh deepens her Christian faith, which she credits for guiding her toward forgiveness, healing, and renewed family ties.

  1. Way to go, dear Sis!
We don’t forgive people because they were not wrong, neither is it because they deserve it. We forgive people because that’s what the word of God has admonished us to do.
More so, forging people is actually for our own good when we do so… In the long run.
