Jennifer Lopez reportedly visited Ben Affleck in California after spending the summer apart
The actress and singer spent most of her summer in The Hamptons, while her husband was in Los Angeles.
Because of their time apart, their have been rumors that their marriage is headed for divorce. Jennifer even celebrated her 55th birthday with friends and family, with no Ben in sight. The two also spent their two-year anniversary apart.
Many sources claimed that Jennifer and Ben were focused on spending time with their children.
Jennifer shares twins, Emme and Max, 16, with ex-husband and salsa sensation, Marc Anthony. Ben shares three children, Violet Anne, 18, Seraphina Rose, 15, and Samuel, 12, with ex-wife Jennifer Garner.
A source revealed to PEOPLE that Jennifer visited Ben’s rental home in Brentwood on Sunday, August 11. Jennifer was eager to spend time with Ben’s kids before classes begun, as the two have always been big on bringing their families together.
The source said: “Just because she’s not with Ben doesn’t mean that she doesn’t care about his kids.” The added: “She always cared about them. She spent months looking for the perfect house for their blended family last year. Now when she’s back in L.A she wants to spend quality time with them before school resumes and Violet is off to college.”
Clearly Jennifer and Ben’s kids have a good relationship after Violet was spotted wearing one of Jennifer’s dresses that she wore on Valentine’s Day with Ben last year.
Ben and Jennifer have not been seen together for months, and it has been reported they have prepared divorce papers after the relationship broke down. Jennifer did make an appearance with Ben for Violet’s high school graduation in May but they came in separate cars.
Jen’s outing comes a week after the Get On The Floor singer was reportedly left “furious”, according to PageSix.
An insider reportedly alleged to the outlet: “[Jennifer’s] furious. [Ben] has humiliated her. He was the one who initiated getting back together.”
