Former England footballer Jermaine Jenas, 41, has publicly apologized to his wife Ellie Penfold on Instagram following his dismissal from his broadcasting role.
Jenas had lost his positions at Match Of The Day and The One Show in August after allegedly sending inappropriate texts to two female colleagues.

The apology came as Ellie launched her new business, Preppy Skin, a grooming brand for children under 16, at a London venue.
In his Instagram post, Jenas both congratulated his wife and acknowledged his recent mistakes.

His full message read: “Couldn’t be more proud of this woman, 3 years ago you had a great idea and this week you got to make that idea a reality. Starting a brand is hard enough, but working hard and being committed to getting it done even with all the BULLS**T I’ve dragged you through recently should be enough evidence that you’ll make it a success. Go visit @preppyskin I promise your kids will love what Ellie’s worked so hard at for the last few years.”
