Nollywood actor, Jerry Amilo has explained why he posted and deleted Junior Pope’s corpse on social media
Junior Pope was confirmed d3ad on Wednesday night after all efforts to revive him failed
The actor alongside other crew members of a movie drowned in the River Niger area on their way back from the set of a movie, ”Another Side of Life”, produced by Adanma Luke.
Jerry Amilo who was at the hospital where Junior Pope was confirmed d3ad, posted a video of himself and the national president of Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN) Emeka Rollas on Instagram on Thursday, staring at their colleague’s corpse.
The video received many backlash with his colleagues in the movie industry also berating him, for posting such insensitive video on social media.
After the backlash, Jerry Amilo was forced to take down the video.
He has now shared another video apologizing for revealing Junior Pope’s corpse, stating that he didn’t do it for clout.
In summary, he stated that he shared the video of the demise to reveal the truth after different versions of his d3ath went viral.
