Questions about potential tension between the Biden family and Kamala Harris emerged as Jill Biden and Naomi Biden drew attention on Election Day
Just as results began to come in for the presidential race between Kamala Harris and Donald Trump, President Biden’s granddaughter Naomi announced on Instagram that she is expecting her first child with her husband, Peter Neal.
The timing of her post raised eyebrows, with some speculating it could be an attempt to overshadow Harris’s potentially historic night.
Naomi, 30, shared a photo on Instagram cradling her baby bump with the caption “(We) voted” and emojis, but did not indicate who she had voted for.

In another notable moment, First Lady Jill Biden was seen at the polls in a bright red pantsuit—a color often associated with the Republican Party.

The outfit sparked a wave of online theories, with some viewers wondering if it was a subtle message toward Harris. “As the wife of a Democrat politician, there’s no way she doesn’t know how this looks,” one person wrote.
“Jill Biden knows exactly what she did,” another tweeted, suggesting the color choice was intentional.
Adding to the speculation, the White House announced that the Bidens would not attend Harris’s Election Night watch party.
A White House official confirmed, “Tonight, the president and First Lady will watch election results in the White House residence with longtime aides and senior White House staff.”
