Joe Igbokwe’s reaction comes after Davido warned African Americans who want to leave America to Nigeria, citing the country’s devastating economic state as one of the reasons.
Joe Igbokwe expressed his disappointment with Davido’s statement, saying it made him sad.
He advised Davido to retract his statement as soon as possible, reminding him that Nigeria made him who he is.
Joe Igbokwe wrote on social media, “My in-law Davido has made me sad by telling the world in America that Nigeria’s economy is in shambles. This is very sad. I will advise him to retract the statement asap. Nigeria made Davido. QED.”
