Joke Silva Celebrates APC’s Appointment
Veteran actress, Joke Silva has finally celebrated her appointment as the chairman of the creative and entertainment industries committee for the All Progressive Council (APC) women’s presidential campaign.
Recall a spokesperson for the campaign Rinsola Abiola, who is also the daughter of late Moshood Abiola, released the list on Independence Day.
The campaign list contains names of 944 high-profile women and wives of prominent APC politicians.
Celebrating her appointment today in an Instagram post, Joke posted a throwback video of herself on her way to the women’s presidential campaign team inauguration.
She wrote: “Flashback to Monday…. on my way to the TINUBU/SHETTIMA Women Presidential Campaign Team inauguration.
“I am honoured to have been appointed as Chairman of the Creative and Entertainment Industries Committee. It is a monumental privilege to be in such a position considering the ever-growing prominence and influence of Nigeria’s creative sector. With so much excitement, I am already envisaging the unprecedented feats that we will achieve together as a people in Nigeria’s creative economy. Come with me! Cheers!”
