The president of the Federal Republic of Nigeria yesterday
met with two leading pastors in the country, Pastor Adeboye of The Redeemed Christian
Church Of God and Pastor David Oyedepo of Winners Chapel. Though he met them
separately in Lagos, the meetings were however termed ‘private’ and nothing was
disclosed to the press.

The president flew in to Lagos in the afternoon and was conveyed
to the venue of the separate meetings in a helicopter before he flew back to
Abuja with some of his aides that accompanied him down.
