Nigerian comedian Chibuike Josh Alfred, known as Josh2Funny, has shared his thoughts on the comedy and content creation industry in Nigeria
On the ‘The Honest Bunch’ podcast, he disagreed with the idea that there is no competition in the industry, stating that he believes there is competition and that he is unmatched in his field.
Josh2Funny also expressed his concerns about others copying his style without giving him credit, emphasizing the importance of acknowledgment.
His statements reflect his confidence in his unique brand of comedy, which has gained international recognition and translation into multiple languages.
“Let nobody tell you that there’s no competition in the comedy industry. There’s competition…
“As we speak now, my comedy is interpreted in Mandarin, Hindi, Russian, French, and other languages. I’m not with you guys, bro. I’m not anybody’s mate in this comedy industry,” Josh2Funny boldly said.
“What I won’t take is for people to be copying what I initiated without crediting me. No, I won’t take that,” he added.
