Skit creator Josh Alfred, popularly known as Josh2funny, recently shared his thoughts on the common misuse of the word “demure” and offered a correction.
He demonstrated the proper way to pronounce the word and playfully urged Yoruba girls to stop saying it incorrectly.
In his video, Josh2funny humorously mentioned names like Toyin and other Yoruba names, pointing out how they often say “demureh” and “ademurey” instead of “demure.”
The video quickly caught the attention of his fans, who noted that some Igbo guys also mispronounce words. They made light-hearted comments on his Instagram page.
