Manchester United have reached a deal to sign Dutch striker Joshua Zirkzee from Bologna, with the 23-year-old set to join the club on a five-year contract until June 2029, with an option to extend for an additional year

The agreement comes after the Netherlands’ elimination from Euro 2024, where Zirkzee came on as a substitute in the 2-1 loss to England in Dortmund.
United negotiated a payment structure spread out over three years, opting not to trigger Zirkzee’s £34m release clause.
This signing marks the first under the new INEOS ownership, with transfer expert Fabrizio Romano confirming the deal using his signature “here we go” phrase.
