Jude Okoye freed from prison

Former P-Square manager, Jude Okoye, has regained his freedom after spending two months in police custody

He was earlier detained following his arraignment by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) over allegations of money laundering involving $1 million, N1.38 billion, and €34,537.59.

Weeks ago, a Lagos court led by Justice Alexander Owoeye granted him bail on the condition that he must provide two sureties worth N100 million each and must remain within the country.

Though he was briefly re-arrested just hours after being granted bail, a new video circulating online now shows Jude finally reuniting with his family. In the clip, his wife is seen joyfully embracing him as he steps out of a car.
