Biodun Okeowo has slammed a troll who criticized her and others for making Jumoke George’s issues public
Recall the veteran, in an interview with Biola Bayo, revealed that she has been homeless for 5 to 6 years and has been living in her church.
The movie star further opened up on her deteriorating health.
A critic lashed out at Biodun, who reposted the video of a crying Jumoke and questioned why they were bringing her to the public.
The troll wrote;
“Y’all Nollywood actors and actresses are stingy. Why do you have to bring this woman to the public because she’s homeless? You dey America, you have a rich husband, you could easily tell your husband ti help her or contact your colleagues to help the woman so you people can cover the shame but hell no, una must come and beg the public for money to help your colleagues, but if to say nah Aso ebi 500k, una wan buy, una dey always see money for that”.
Replying to the critic, Biodun wrote;
Some unfortunate people on this app think like roaches 🪳!
This is why some of you will never understand empathy, because your heart is locked in bitterness. @possiblecashie and the senseless ones who liked your comment and concurred with you, You all clearly lack both sense and empathy.
You’re busy counting people’s husbands and outfits instead of counting your own missing blessings.
If helping a senior colleague publicly can save a life, let it be!
When you become a human being with sense, you’ll understand that some issues are bigger than your pocket watching mentality.
If you had half a brain, you’d know that going public is sometimes the fastest way to get urgent help.
But no, you’d rather stay bitter and type essays about people’s personal lives while doing zero for your own community.
Focus on your life, and stop analyzing what’s above your emotional pay grade.
